A very smooth and solid bourbon from Smoke Wagon. COLOR: "Yellow Wheat"; NOSE: corn; sour-dough bread; hints of rye or mint; PALATE: Somewhat dry, with notes of "leather" (not bad!), corn, vanilla and a rye/spice....the FINISH: It warms up and the dryness fades. A rather smooth finish that leaves the back/roof of my mouth pleasantly warm. ADDING 3 drops of Limestone water will..... increase the dryness and highlight the grassy/wheat notes. ADDING 2 MORE drops of water (now 5 total).... reduces the dryness and brings out the vanilla & hints of bread!! So, better with a large ice cube, in my opinion (?).
