The Slyrs Distillery, founded in 1999 in Schliersee, Germany, has been a pioneer in the relatively new field of German whisky production. By offering a variety of expressions finished in different wine casks, Slyrs has gained international recognition for its innovative malts made from German barley. This specific bottling, the Faßstärke, is a limited-edition cask strength version of their flagship whisky, aged in new American white oak.
