About this bottle

Molasses from Demerara sugar is the base for Skipper Rum, which is made at the Diamond Distillery. This facility has nine distinct still types, with seven employed in the production of this rum; two of these are constructed from wood (specifically, the Port Mourant double wooden pot-still and the Enmore wooden Coffey still). The rum undergoes maturation for a minimum of three years in barrels that previously held bourbon. The bottle's branding has remained largely the same since the product's introduction in the 1930s.
