Nose: starts with grain forward, then bright caramel and honey notes arrive. Palate: honey, caramel, black pepper/baking spice, and a sweet bread finish. Overall: A very drinkable whiskey packed with excellent flavor. This would be great in a mixed drink or by itself. It works exceptionally well in a bourbon cocktail that includes lemon juice.

It gradually becomes more appealing. It's quite standard, but what else can be anticipated from spirit that is presumably 100% MGP with minimal aging? Received as a gift from a friend in Texas.
