The aroma is solely brown sugar. The palate is nearly absent, with just a whisper of brown sugar and vanilla. It's not the absolute worst I've had; it's drinkable on its own, but I wouldn't suggest it as it has very little character. Similar to Crown Royal, it seems intended for those who don't typically enjoy whisky. It's acceptable for cocktails; a highball with lime and soda water still didn't allow the whisky to be detected. At around $15-17 CAD, it might be suitable for mixing, but that's its limit.
