Silent Pool Gin is produced in Surrey, England, on the Albury Estate, which belongs to the Duke of Northumberland and is situated next to The Silent Pool, a lake fed by a spring. The gin is crafted using 24 botanicals, employing both maceration and vapor distillation techniques. Notable botanicals include fresh orange peel, pears, chamomile, rose petals, Kaffir lime leaves, linden flowers, elderflower, and local honey.

Impressive fusion of flavors that updates gin's character while retaining the classic taste of London dry gin. Notes: citrus, honey, tea. Can be enjoyed neat or with tonic (use classic Fever-Tree to avoid altering the taste or 1724 if you want to emphasize the gin's mellow quality).
Wonderful, a light juniper flavor at the start followed by sweetness and a very smooth finish. It's among my favorite gins, fantastic on its own and mixes well in a handmade gimlet. I discovered this on a dusty shelf in a small liquor store in Maryland, quite a find!
Really good. Subtle pine notes, a touch of floral character, and a rather sweet, mellow end that brings wild blossoms and honey to mind. Excellent with a quality tonic, superb in a gimlet. For other gin cocktails, I’d rather have something simpler (like Tanqueray, for example).
I found this gin to be quite medicinal (in aroma and taste) when mixed with Fever Tree tonic. Compared to my current favorite, Gray Whale, this gin offers nothing remarkable. Perhaps I'm missing something, but it doesn't resonate with me.
Consumed in a LAST WORD cocktail, making it difficult to discern, but it seemed decent. Update: Tried it again in a martini. I like this one quite a bit. It doesn't have excessive floral notes, and the bite isn't overly strong.
Gentle, yet the complete botanical character remains. Excellent in an extremely dry Martini. A traditional Gin, ideal for mixing cocktails. Uncomplicated, crisp, and skillfully crafted.
