A thin and light reposado. The subtle flavors present are marshmallow, natural vanilla bean, and light oak. This uncomplicated profile allows the natural agave flavors to shine. However, this same simplicity allows the ethanol to dominate the finish. It's very easy to drink. This particular bottle is 1438, which is not additive-free like the 1414.

About this bottle
This expression is crafted from 100% blue Weber agave cultivated in Jalisco, and produced by the Vivanco Family in Arandas. The agave is cooked in brick ovens, then crushed using a roller mill. Fermentation employs the "Mozart Method" with rum and champagne yeasts. It undergoes double distillation and rests in heavily charred American oak, before being bottled additive-free at 80 proof. Note: The brand has relocated its distiller from Tequila to the Highlands, and the packaging has been updated. Newer versions will display NOM 1414. The suggested retail price is $54.99.
