Rating: 8/23 The taste is rather unremarkable but has some depth with a touch of sweetness and a hint of tartness. It's not very engaging but is drinkable. Perhaps it's better served warm or cold. It's slightly richer than Gekkeikan Black And Gold, but potentially a bit less balanced. There are some mild vegetal notes, like squash, that complement the fruitiness well. It's richer than Ozeki Junmai, but its individual flavors are less distinct. Ozeki is significantly superior. This one is somewhat earthy and unpleasant. I could consume it, but I would prefer not to.
