If I smelled this blind, I would have guessed Macallan 12. On the palate, it shifts between a heavy young corn whiskey and the Macallan flavors. I enjoy both, so this worked well for me. No distinct oak presence, a lengthy sweet finish.

Aromatic notes of herbs, peanuts, rubbing alcohol, and plastic, with a hot sensation. This has been open for 2 months and has shown slight improvement, but remains quite unpleasant.
The aroma has notes of oak, cardboard, and burnt caramel. The palate contains some vanilla, corn, oak, and caramel.
This bourbon has peat notes similar to Scotch, which I don't prefer.
