Rating: 7/23 This is a somewhat watery sake, though at this price point, it could easily be used for cooking, which might be acceptable. There are sweet, fruity, and floral flavors that overlay a bitter undertone. There is a long, mellow finish of rosewater underlaid by bitter vegetal notes. Unfortunately, the rosewater fades first. The taste has some depth, but there isn't a lot going on here, and it definitely tastes of alcohol. It's an adequate low-end sake.

The aromas were a bit tart, almost like vinegar, with overripe fruit. The tartness was noticeable on the tongue, but a sweetness took over, especially in the finish. It was better than I recall sake (in general) being.
A very floral scent. It's mellow and traditional on the palate.
