This is a straightforward, spiced gin originating from England. For their Cardamom Gin, the Sacred distillers in Highgate infuse green cardamom from Guatemala into English grain spirit, followed by re-distillation. It begins aromatically with hints of ground cardamom and juniper; its middle notes develop with evergreen characteristics, bringing scents of pine freshness and crushed black pepper; it finishes with an exceptionally enduring, clean cardamom aftertaste, subtly touched by anise.
