Tasted fresh from a bottle share. Had this alongside batches 2 & 3. It came in third place, but we thought it might improve with time. It was the sweetest and hottest of the group (as expected for the heat). It's a solid batch, but the rising cost is noticeable. Final assessment: I'm glad to own it, but I wouldn't buy another.

A very pleasant aroma on this one. Another success from Russell's! Cherry upfront with a nice, solid warmth going down, packed with flavor.
One of the best batches, if not the best. The extra proof is noticeable in the complexity, and the finish is great.
Sweet barrel spice on the nose. Spiced, sugared nuts and oak. A mellow but lasting finish.
Although this isn't as aged as the prior batches, the oak is still present.
Smell: cola, wood Taste: vanilla, dirt, caramels
