While calling it "smooth" might be common, this bourbon truly is. The flavors remain complex and enjoyable. I could drink this extensively without growing tired of it. If a friend new to small-batch bourbons asked for something "different", I might offer this. Though superior bourbons might exist, this one is incredibly accessible.

Allyson Tinsley 3.3

The nose has a slightly tart quality that doesn't prepare you for the immediate sweetness on the palate. You'll find notes of maraschino cherry, a touch of cinnamon, a drop of vanilla, and a good amount of pepper. The finish offers faint echoes of the preceding flavors, concluding with a surprising burst of heat, like an unexpected guest crashing the party.

Esteban Craft 4.3

The aroma features tangerine, a hint of banana, and sweet cherries. The palate is a more floral bourbon with notes of cinnamon and toasted brown sugar combined. The finish is oaky and spicy. Overall, it's a uniquely lighthearted bourbon that's refreshing after a few cocktails; give it a try if you can.

Gina Mcqueen 3.3

The nose suggests chocolate and citrus/orange sweetness. The initial sip isn't as potent as expected, with hints of chocolate and char. Adding ice brings out fruity notes and further reveals the citrus and chocolate, concluding with a char and oak finish. It's a good bourbon and I'd recommend it.

Caleb Pfeiffer 3.8

It's like Noahs Mill, but it has a lighter body, a smoother feel, and less intensity, though it also offers less depth. This is now one of my favorite bourbons, but Noahs Mill still edges it out slightly for me. I'll reach for this when I'm looking for something a bit more mellow and easy-drinking. Good job.

Jewell Noel 3.0

I acquired this recently. It's smooth, but I detect a strange mildew aroma/flavor. I also got a Noah's Mill around the same time, and it had a very faint hint of this. Perhaps the brand of rye used isn't to my liking. It's pretty good otherwise.
