This isn't sold in my region (Missouri), but it was a birthday present from my daughter who resides near the distillery. Although it's a bourbon, it lacks the typical flavoring grains rye or wheat. It consists of 82% corn, 9% chocolate malt, and 9% malted barley. It's bottled at 92 proof and my particular bottle was aged for 29 months. This tastes like a quality corn whiskey (corn sweetness, wood spice, and vanilla) with a significant malt influence, adding a slight chocolate/coffee note to the profile. I'm enjoying this as an interesting variation on bourbon. However, it won't become my everyday drink – I'm too set in my ways to give up the rye spice in my bourbon.
