Robert Burns Blended Scotch Whisky

Nose: Alcohol, green apple, pear, grapefruit. Some light spice and a little floral. Palate: Tart, sour and citrus. Very light lime and vanilla. Hints of baked goods and a little lemon drizzle are present. Finish: Medium long finish. More citrus and apple. Mild vanilla and a sour note in the aftertaste. I'd classify this as a pub whisky. It's a bit too citrusy and sour for me to fully enjoy, but it's drinkable and you wouldn't feel shortchanged after a couple. It's generally alright, but not particularly pleasing.

Aroma: honey Taste: sweet, honey, a touch of heather Finish: crisp, ephemeral, light in body. A budget-friendly, understated, revitalizing option that offers great value. My regular choice for an affordable scotch.

Dorado. Gentle vanilla and a toffee that's almost dulce de leche. Smooth on the nose, a bit sweet. On the palate, it's direct. Nutty and dry. Chocolate and red fruits. Smooth finish. A complex dessert.

Mellow, with no significant drawbacks. Distinct notes of honey, pear, and light smoke are evident. The aroma carries hints of cereal, peat, and spice. The finish is brief and sweet.

Enjoyed this. It starts and finishes lightly. It has sweet, caramel notes, with minimal heat and smoke.

Almond, walnut, malty undertones. Candied citrus in the taste.
