Pungent and grain-forward initially. This is a somewhat young, zesty but enjoyable spirit. Notes of green apples, rye spice, and fruitcake. The finish is brief, nearly vanishing at first. I find it appealing and it worked well in an old fashioned, though it's not something I'd regularly choose. A solid improvement over the standard offering in its category.

Nose: floral roses and dark caramel, with some rye spice and a hint of vanilla ice cream. Palate: medium thick body, dark rich flavors like dark caramel and some light rye and cinnamon. Finish: lingering dark sweetness, a slightly dry spice at the end, with a medium burn.
Its darker gold hue hinted at richer flavors. Quite agreeable. Hints of vanilla and maple alongside a smooth, albeit short, finish. I'd happily drink this straight or with a single ice cube.
This is batch number: 223 Smells of maple with sweet spices and oak. The taste mirrors this but includes rich dark fruit, like blackberry syrup, truly delightful!
Pleasant woody and maple scent. Flavors of oak, maple, vanilla, and grass on the palate. A brief but mellow finish considering its 100 proof.
Has a rye character with some sweetness and pine notes. It bears a resemblance to eagle rare.
