Reifel Rye

The aroma leads with rye's heat, then black pepper and maple. Faint dill, sweet vanilla, caramel, and white grapefruit also show up. The initial taste is spicy, but that fades into caramel, maple, and honey. It's surprisingly layered for its alcohol content. Overall, a nice drink. I typically enjoy my spirits straight, but this might also work well in an Old Fashioned. Aromas of vanilla, caramel, cherry, cedar, hay, and crème brûlée. Silky and very lightly tannic on the palate – showcasing more vanilla, hay, and cherry, plus additional notes of pine, toffee, and raisin. Long, smooth finish. 3.75/5.00 – Very Good (neat)

Aromas of fruit and spice greet you. Hints of banana and leather are present - pleased that the bottle and label aesthetics are improving. A wonderful tribute to George Reifel and an excellent value, perfect for sipping straight or in a Manhattan.

The nose is a bit faint, with a hint of melon and not much else. Starts with a peppery bite, which is nice and sweet. Caramel and vanilla notes are present. Lingering pepper, like a good rye. A smooth drink I'd have again.

A delightful surprise. This is very enjoyable when consumed neat. It has a great balance of sweetness, vanilla, and a subtle hint of banana, along with a faint note of dill. It finishes with a pleasant spicy rye character.

The aroma offers green apple and tart melon with a touch of spice and cinnamon. The taste brings spices and vanilla, plus a whisper of banana.
