About this bottle
Based in Northern California, Redwood Empire produces both its own grain-to-glass spirits and sources whiskeys. The Colonel Armstrong Wheated Bourbon honors Colonel James Armstrong, who in the 1870s deeded the land that now constitutes Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve to his daughter, safeguarding the redwoods depicted on the label. This four-grain bourbon combines Redwood Empire's distillate with high-wheat bourbons aged between 4 and 14 years from Kentucky and Indiana. The mash bill contains 30% wheat, significantly more than is typical for wheated bourbons. It became available online and at retailers nationwide in June 2026. (SRP $39.99)
