Cask #48. 58% abv. Aged in ex-bourbon. The texture is wonderful and oily. The aroma has fruit and caramel apple. It's quite potent. If I had to guess the distillery, it would be Mortlach. Waxy, with apple and cinnamon notes. The finish is a little grainy and dominated by ethanol, suggesting it might be on the younger side, but the barrel influence is significant. This would be exceptional if it weren't so hot.

Cask #49, ABV likely 62.2%. Less chaotic than #48, with some floral hints that bring Clynelish to mind. A thick, caramel mouthfeel and some warmth on the finish.
