Rebel Single Barrel Cask Strength (Liquor Xpress)

I'm sampling the "Saved by the Bourbon" single barrel from It's Bourbon Night. The aroma is of cinnamon and apple, with strong vanilla. It doesn't taste as potent as it smells, but it's a very balanced flavor with all the expected notes. It doesn't deliver as strong a Kentucky hug as I anticipate from barrel strength, but it has a pleasant lingering finish nonetheless.

Surprisingly sweet for a spirit at 120 proof. The texture is pleasing, with abundant vanilla in the finish. This producer demonstrates considerable expertise... Excellent products.

Consistently hot. Excellent aroma. A great choice.
