Mohammad Choate 3.3

I discovered this whiskey at a reputable restaurant in Texas called The Taste of Texas, and it caught my eye, so I ordered a glass. Bottled at 40% ABV On the nose, very reminiscent of bourbon. Vanilla, caramel, red apples, cider; hay, pepper, and BBQ sauce. A subsequent taste revealed banana and vanilla cream. The palate is somewhat straightforward, yet pleasant. Yellow apples, peppery, salty, and cider. Finish is spicy and complements meat well. BBQ sauce, stewed apples, salty, and woody. Oak spice. In summary, this is an uncomplicated whiskey with a bourbon-like profile, suitable as an everyday drink. It's not particularly remarkable. My rating for it is 69 out of 100.

Rusty Kong 3.0

It's acceptable, but not outstanding. Quite similar to Four Roses.
