Smell: caramel Taste: sweet initially, with honey and possibly some pear. It's thin. Finish: A bit of spice, and it's short. It's good to experience something unfamiliar (at least to me). There are no issues; it's an easy-drinking spirit, but not something I'd actively seek out.

Smells of live oak, allspice, candied ginger, and caramel. It's soft but coats the mouth decently. Flavors of bark char, spiced toffee, and whole grain bread. A quick, dry finish with youthful oak notes. A great price and a solid, easy-drinking bottle for the shelf.
Approachable yet not dull, and balanced to suit a wide range of preferences.
