Proof & Wood Ventures, known for sourcing and blending American and international spirits, has released Blame Canada!, a 22-year-old Canadian rye whisky. Fourteen barrels of this rye, made with a mash bill of 91% rye and 9% corn, were distilled at Lethbridge Distillery in Canada. Following 22 years of maturation, it was bottled as single barrels with proofs varying between 117 and 119. The release is scheduled to begin in September 2024, with a suggested retail price of $199.
