Prairie Cucumber Vodka

The aroma brings cucumber to mind, but with more body than Eight Degrees, akin to a freshly sliced cucumber on a cutting board. The taste follows suit. While some imperfections linger, they battle with spice and earthiness instead of lemon-lime soda, making it a better effort. This vastly surpasses the Right Degrees Cucumber Vodka. I'm still unsure of its utility, but it genuinely delivers a cucumber-vodka essence. Well done, though it remains unappealing to me. I can't rate it a 12; it feels more like an 8 to a 10. The gimmick doesn't justify its existence, and the vodka adds a hint of citrus with the spice, which, while not inherently bad, triggers unpleasant memories of other flavored vodkas. I'll assign it a 10 for the moment. It mixes better with water than Eight Degrees does. Imagine refreshing cucumber water with a slight peppery note and alcohol. I personally don't seek alcohol that's undetectable, as it misses the subtle complexities while still incurring health risks. However, for those desiring a thirst-quenching beverage with a mild buzz, this is a solid option. I can't revise my score based on this discovery due to a lack of comparative experience, but if I were to, it would increase. This is undoubtedly the premier cucumber vodka available (assuming one desires such a thing - perhaps a fine bourbon, rum, scotch, or a sharp object to the eye would be preferable?).

Rating: 9/23 It possesses a considerable amount of cucumber freshness and sweetness, which is unusual but at least somewhat convincing. The alcohol flavor is quite prominent, though. It also has a fair amount of peppery harshness. It's not terrible, but its purpose isn't very clear, making me question why anyone would seek it out.

It's clean and crisp, with alcohol, cucumber, and some pepper present. There's a subtle element that's slightly off. I don't find it appealing, nor can I understand why others would. It's not offensive, but it's certainly not enjoyable. I'm reducing its score slightly.

A cool, infused corn spirit out of Minnesota. It's made with organic corn and garden cucumbers, offering a fresh aroma of death with a hint of sea spray. Tasted in July of 2017.

Pure cucumber aroma. It will be very interesting to mix this. It smells a little peculiar though.
