Part of Planteray Rum's limited "Under the Sea" Vintage Collection No. 2, this Barbados 2013 bottling is one of six special releases. Each rum in the series features a local marine animal on its packaging, and the spirits are distilled and aged in their country of origin before undergoing a secondary aging period in southwest France, a signature double aging process for the brand. The Barbados 2013 vintage was created using a mix of column and pot still distillates from West Indies Rum Distillery. These rums underwent an initial 8-year aging period, followed by an additional year of maturation in France. The label displays both a green sea turtle and a flying fish. Production was limited to 20 casks, with availability in the US starting May 2023. (SRP $80)
