Pinhook 2023 Bourbon Resolve

The aroma offers light sweet fruit notes followed by a youthful woodiness, almost like pine. On the palate, there's a touch of young graininess, the woodiness from the nose, combined with sweet fruit notes like apricot. The finish is brief, but overall, the pour is a pleasant choice for warm weather.

The color is a pale amber and the aroma seems very young. Flavors are overwhelmingly green - grass, hay, barley. Quite disappointing. It almost tastes like Jim Beam white label.

Incredibly smooth and flavorful. Oak and vanilla are well-balanced with hints of caramel. This has risen to become a top choice for me.

Different in a good way. But young and 101 proof. Despite all that, it's very smooth with complex flavor. Give this one a try.

Smells of wheat, wood, and light fruit. Tastes warm with pepper and honey. The finish has wood and mild pepper and honey notes.

Nose features leather, honey, pepper, chocolate, slightly astringent, and mostly vanilla.
