Pike street bourbon whiskey

Tasted prior to bottling. Acquired my first bottle several years ago in Osakis. Grain and vanilla are prominent. Black pepper and ethanol burn counter an oak presence on the finish, suggesting the 3-year age statement might be both a minimum and maximum. It has rough edges, but shows significant promise for future releases, so I need to revisit it.

A favorite whiskey. Made in Minnesota. Pleasant spicy notes.

A scent of oak and vanilla hits the nose. A fast burn with pepper concludes the experience.

Very mellow. The rum is noticeable.
