Peralta Bourbon

Nose: Raisins, malty cereal/oats. Taste: Pine, apricot. Finish: New oak, pepper, leather. This was included in a charity blind tasting of Arizona whiskies. I ranked it fifth out of five. It wasn't a poor whiskey, just felt a bit unremarkable. Sampled at home.

The nose is subtle, but the initial flavors are chocolate and coffee, with a mild oak finish.
