I've had great luck with my combat santa lottery wins this year. A friend mentioned he thought of me when he picked this as a gift option, so I dove right in. Given it was the only alcohol given at the party, I feel like I won regardless. When I first saw it, I figured it was just another cheap vodka where the bottle costs more than the spirit. Then I read another review and learned about their meteorite filtering process. There's not much info online about this vodka, so I suspect it's a basic cheap potato vodka from France, with a tiny meteorite in the filter so it can legally claim contact. Besides the space theme, I can't imagine what flavors this filtration would add, if any. The aroma is clean, simple, and slightly earthy, supporting my potato guess. The alcohol is predictably very mild, with no other distinct smells or notes. A very light body where I now taste fresh grain, enough that it could easily be a corn base. It also has a sweetness that starts like grain sugar but finishes more like a liqueur, similar to simple syrup mixed with vodka. This is a very straightforward vodka, yet quite enjoyable. I'm unsure if the meteorite filtration was intended to add flavor or just boost marketing. Regardless, it tastes pretty good if you prefer a sweeter vodka, and the bottle is certainly a collectible (and looks great with light behind it). For the very low price, it would enhance a home bar more than many other simple, sweet vodka choices.

An exceptionally cool bottle, featuring vodka purportedly filtered through meteorites, which is a clever marketing tactic. There's a subtle metallic undertone, possibly from the meteorites. Considering it's a vodka, this one has a moderate burn and an unusual, though not unpleasant, texture. The bottle alone makes it worth purchasing.

Average vodka that tastes similar to Ketel One. The bottle has an appealing design and includes a flashlight!
