The aroma is fresh and rich with honey, sweet corn, vanilla, and toasted oak. The honey flavor is immediately apparent, blending well with a smooth straight bourbon. The taste might be a bit too sweet, with the honey providing a strong sweetness that really overshadows the bourbon's other characteristics. Some bourbon notes are present, but not very clear. You can detect vanilla, toasted oak, and maybe even a hint of spice, but the honey sweetness is too dominant. The finish is long and sweet, with lingering honey and oak notes, and a slight clash as it fades.

The aroma, flavor, and finish are all honey. Luckily, I enjoy honey. Perhaps a cocktail with krupnik would be fitting.
