Discovered an old bottle in my father's cabinet, likely unopened for 25 years. Only a few sips remained at the bottom, so perhaps a fair assessment: Nose: sweet wheat bread, acetone Taste: thin mouthfeel, astringent, faint light speyside blend notes difficult to discern. Flavors of peaches, barley, rye bread crust. Light smoke. Finish: too weak to burn, and surprisingly long bitter aftertaste. Faint notes of raisins, cloves, apple skins. Would not recommend, but it's a memorable part of an evening spent with family exploring the liquor cabinet!

You often take a chance with these budget-friendly whiskeys, but this one was a complete miss. The initial flavor wasn't bad; I detected some honey and citrus, but the finish was truly awful, reminiscent of cleaning supplies. It's the only whiskey I've ever encountered that actually made me throw up. I poured the remainder of the bottle down the drain, relieved to have purchased it solely to prevent anyone else from experiencing this utter disaster of a scotch.

Completely awful. While I understand some might judge inexpensive spirits inherently, I have no issue praising budget-friendly spirits when they merit it. This is not one of those instances. Extremely chemical, like glue and burning sawdust. It actually ruins mixed drinks too. Definitely avoid it. Spend a little more money, get yourself a bottle of Pig’s Nose, Dewar’s or Dimple Pinch and have a much better experience.

Light, refreshing aroma, smooth at first sip with a noticeable warmth at the end that lingers. Some have mentioned a chemical taste, which I didn't detect, but I am not a fan of this spirit. I read other reviews after purchasing and regret not checking them beforehand, but I was in a rush.

I discovered this in my father-in-law's liquor cabinet – it tasted watered down and generally poor. It gave me the impression it was a budget option from a local supermarket.

Yeah, I bought this for the cool label while on vacation. It's not as bad as some other reviews suggest, but it's not something I'd sip on. Hopefully, it won't interfere with my scuba diving tomorrow...
