This expression is one of three travel retail bottlings from Old Pulteney named "The Lighthouse Collection." It is named for the two lighthouses on the largest island within the Pentland Skerries archipelago, located northeast of Scotland's northernmost point and south of the Orkney Islands. The whisky is matured exclusively in ex-sherry casks and is sold in liter-sized containers.

Tastes precisely as I prefer my women. Fiery and uncomplicated. Just kidding! (in case the wife is reading this). After consuming 50% bourbons, this seemed to have a higher alcohol content. Not harsh, pleasantly simple vanilla with a touch of sherry. 3.25
Smell: Unaged whiskey, dried fig, sultana, caramel candy apple. Palate: Zesty, cassia bark, dried fig. Aftertaste: Piquant, dried fig.
