There's nothing wrong with this pour, but it hasn't spent enough time in the barrel to develop rich bourbon flavors. It's more similar to Carolina Whiskey or white whiskey. The aroma consisted mainly of wood chips and wheat with a hint of pine resin. The taste was sweet and wheaty with some corn. Adding a bit of ice slightly opened up the aroma and helped reveal a faint trace of caramel, but it didn't improve the taste. It's good as a white corn liquor, but it's underpowered as a bourbon, and the price is high.
