Quite smooth. It tastes young, like a two-year-old, but has a surprisingly good finish. I also had the pleasure of meeting the head distiller; a very pleasant individual.
Trying to determine the best way to pair this younger whiskey. It has a sharp flavor and a pungent aroma.
Tastes like wood, not barrel wood, just plain wood. Similar to chewing on cedar.
