It genuinely smells like cookies, but the taste is a surprise. You get flavors of spices you might expect in a dessert, with cardamom, cinnamon, and vanilla being the most noticeable. It's also a bit spicy. I was quite taken aback by the taste. Based on the name, I anticipated sweetness, but I was pleased to discover it wasn't. It's different from other bottles I've had, so I was glad to add it to my collection.
