A superb mix of 12-year-old casks from Indiana, hitting a massive 138.1 proof! The initial smell is nearly overpowering ethanol, but adding about 5mL of water transforms it into sweet cinnamon Red-Hot candies, vanilla, and oak. The first taste on the tongue can be intense with alcohol, yet a bit of water completely alters it into one of the most incredible, layered, and distinctive drinks I've ever experienced. Flavors begin with Cinnamon Red-Hot candy, oak, and vanilla, then transition to leather, sweet cured pork, and dark cherries, concluding with a hint of pickle brine! The lingering aftertaste lasts forever with mellow rye spice, honey sweetness, and that intriguing brine. Amazing!

Spicy cinnamon and red hots on the aroma. More of that on the palate, but the warmth isn't too much considering the proof. Oak and cinnamon notes are present. The finish lasts quite a while.
Tastes like red hot candy. Subtle vanilla and oak provide a well-rounded depth. I will look for it again.
Wow. An incredible pour for 138 proof, and it doesn't taste like it. Top-tier. The flavor is among the best.
Less intense heat, but not as satisfying as previous batches.
