Oak & Eden Wheat & Spire B015

Part of a virtual tasting with Oak & Eden Wood: American Oak Infusion: No Fire: Heavy Nose - Honeycomb, toasted marshmallow, white pepper, cinnamon, subtle oak, and mild ethanol. Palate - Rich honey, butterscotch, toasted vanilla, crème brûlee, saltwater taffy, and tree sap. The finish is medium with honey, light butterscotch, white pepper, cinnamon, sweet oak, and very little ethanol. This is my favorite so far, hands down. It seems like a blend of Maker's Mark Wood Finishing Series and Woodinville Bourbon Cask Strength due to the strong honey and sweet oak characteristics. I'm truly impressed that this is a 90 proof wheated bourbon; it's exceptionally good.
