About this bottle
Nikka Yoichi Single Malt Limited Edition 2019 is one of two bottlings from Nikka commemorating the 50th anniversary of its sister distillery, Miyagikyo, established in 1969. Miyagikyo, situated near Sendai in a mountainous area between two rivers, produces smooth, mellow malts. It was designed as a contrast to Yoichi, which is located by the sea in Hokkaido and yields robust, peaty whiskies. Each release incorporates whiskies from the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s. It is bottled at 48% ABV.
