👁: A brilliant amber moving toward copper. 👃: It explodes in all directions, a monster of complexity. It leads with spices (nutmeg, pepper), wet wood, a peat smoke akin to bacon, accompanied by jam-like fruits such as peach or apricot. One even finds some dried fruits alongside a softer peat with a bit more aeration. 👅: Very nice structure, it has an oily quality with dominant spice and peat. You can feel the 60% ABV in the mouth, but the aromas remain. It's very quick on the spices, then the peat takes over. A very nice smoky character, decadent, always accompanied by a bit of cooked fruit that evolves toward licorice and even cigar box notes!
