Impressive for its category. The nose has a slightly medicinal quality. The initial taste presents the classic Yoichi vanilla sweetness, which quickly transitions into a delightful peaty, briny warmth. The body is somewhat thin due to the absence of an age statement, but its lingering presence on the palate evokes the essence of Islay whiskies.

A touch of peat appears on the aroma. It's mellow and sugary initially, with peat and smoke showing up in the center, concluding with salinity and a briny finish. The mouthfeel is rather lean, yet the flavor is robust, suitable for individuals unaccustomed to peat. Quite enjoyable, though exceedingly pricey.
Nosing: sweet, aromatic barbecue, very pleasing to the senses. Flavor: youthful and spiciness hits upfront, saltiness is pronounced and tastes like swallowing a harsh quantity of salt Finish: smooth smokiness - light
This is truly an outstanding whisky. It's remarkably well-balanced given its 55% ABV, offering a spicy, slightly sweet profile with a long, crisp finish.
Incredible. It’s smoky and briny, yet also sweet and rich. Enjoyable with an ice sphere or a splash of water. 93
I definitely feel the peat in the nose and aftertaste. The salt leaves me feeling a little dry.
