Beautiful amber color, deep grain sweetness on the nose. Heavy, deep, and rich. Wonderful. A touch of saltiness. Grain and wood balance perfectly. Smoke appears later on the finish, and is mostly underneath for the rest. Stunning. Tasted at the Nikka Yoichi distillery in Hokkaido, Japan.
