Nikka Miyagikyo Single Malt Limited Edition 2019 marks the 50th anniversary of Miyagikyo Distillery's establishment in 1969, alongside another Nikka release. Situated in a mountainous area near Sendai, between two rivers, Miyagikyo produces mellow, gentle malt whiskies, intended as a contrast to the coastal Yoichi Distillery in Hokkaido, known for its robust, peaty spirits. This edition incorporates whiskies from the 1960s through the 2000s, featuring some of the distillery's earliest productions. It is bottled at 48% ABV.
