The description is accurate. The nose features pit fruits and brown sugar. Sweet marshmallow cream dominates initially, with the fruit taking a backseat, followed by strong cinnamon spice and a pleasant warmth in the chest. The spice introduces a slight bitterness that quickly fades. The finish lingers nicely with the cinnamon gradually diminishing. Adding ice slightly reduces the cinnamon but doesn't bring out the fruit. It's impressive how much character is extracted from a four-year-old whiskey by this distillery. Overall, a nice bottle upon first impression.
