A potent, Single Malt Spanish Whisky crafted by three flavor experts: Jesus Barquin, a co-author of the definitive book on Andalucía wines; Eduardo Ojeda, a Master Blender and an expert in sourcing barrels; and Nicolas Palazzi, the founder of PM Spirits, who handled the DYC Distillery in Jerez, Spain. It was distilled in a copper pot still using Spanish Malt and aged for a full decade in barrels that previously held Oloroso Sherry. It was then bottled at 52.5% ABV, with fewer than a thousand bottles produced. It begins with an aromatic profile featuring notes of Sherry, dried fruits, pecan, malt, butter, herbs, and spices; followed by a juicy body with flavors of butter, nuts, hints of cherry, dates, allspice, leather, and clove; culminating in a long and rich conclusion. About this bottle
Equipo Navazos and Nicolas Palazzi of PM Spirits have collaborated to create this scarce whisky from northern Spain. It is 100% Spanish barley, pot-distilled, and has matured for its entire duration in a single oloroso sherry cask that was recently emptied. After 11 years of aging, it is bottled at cask strength, without chill-filtration, and with no added color. In sherry production, a "Bota Punta" is the cask located at the start of the bottom row, which tends to receive more air and light, leading to a different aging process compared to other sherry casks. There were only 900 bottles produced.

Wow, an overwhelming buttery sensation. It has nutty notes and hints of dried fruit. Very approachable, with a touch of spice on the finish, which I really like. It's as if a higher-proof bourbon was combined with a spry spirit. The bourbon contributes color, spice, and oakiness, while the spry spirit brings fruitiness and butter notes.
