Served neat. Produced in my home city, Hong Kong. Quite clear and aromatic. Enjoyable neat. Eager to try it with tonic. Smell: very floral and citrusy. Pu’er tea, a common Chinese tea. Prominent orange peel, likely from dried tangerine peel used as a botanical. Juniper is certainly present. Chrysanthemum tea, evoking childhood memories for many in Hong Kong. A subtle hint of traditional Chinese medicine underneath. Taste: sweet, with juniper leading, followed by pu’er tea and a blend reminiscent of Chinese medicinal spices used in local cuisine. Aftertaste: warm and floral. Truly remarkable. Exceptionally smooth and pleasant even when served neat (which I don't typically favor!). A bottle capturing the essence of Hong Kong. A must-buy when visiting HK or if you spot it in a store!!!
