The aromas were sweet as expected, mainly maraschino cherry, with some bakery almond paste as well. Everything seemed accurate. However, the flavor tasted too artificial. It was excessively sweet, like pure sugar. The almond flavor faded quickly. The cherry flavor remained but was very faint. Then came an unpleasant, slightly bitter finish.

Compared directly with Di Amore Amaretto, this was considerably inferior. I wouldn't recommend sipping this neat or on the rocks as it's watery and relies on added caramel for sweetness. However, for use in mixed drinks, it will suffice.
A nut-flavored liqueur from Princeton, Minnesota, produced by the Mister Stacks Specialties Company.
