Produced by Isle of Skye Distillers in Portree, Skye's capital, Misty Isle Gin features eleven botanicals. Among the disclosed ingredients are hand-foraged Skye juniper, orris root, licorice root, cubeb, coriander, grains of paradise, lemon peel, and cassia bark. A single undisclosed botanical is rumored to be exclusively sourced from the Isle of Skye.

I sampled this while in Scotland and found it quite pleasing. I don't recall many additional details. We purchased a bottle from the Whisky Shop in Dufftown and had it sent to our home.
Licorice, smooth, and wonderful when enjoyed neat. All the botanicals are present, including licorice and coriander; it's incredibly well-balanced. Top marks. It's likely better neat than with a standard tonic, honestly.
Mixed with tonic water it's really smooth and delightful. It has a very light flavor and is delicious.
Spicy, enjoyed on the Isle of Skye.
