Lyric Humphries 3.0

Nose: The aroma is subtle, with faint traces of corn and charred oak. There's no alcohol scent, so feel free to inhale deeply. It's gentle and mild with a slight sweetness. Palate: Mildly sweet with a spicy kick. Similar to the nose, it's delicate on the palate. A cinnamon flavor emerges on the second taste, along with some fruitiness. Mouthfeel: Thin and watery. Finish: The finish is moderately long and drying, leaving behind lingering fruit and oak notes. Overall: A suitable beginner bourbon, not intricate at all, and priced in the mid-range. The price I paid felt a bit steep.

Johnny Hankins 3.5

Nose: Honey, vanilla, caramel, black pepper, and a small quantity of cherry, green apple, and citrus. Taste: The spiciness isn't obvious in the sip, but the sweetness certainly is. Burnt caramel, honey, vanilla, and brown sugar are all present with green apple. Overall Impression: Uncomplicated with a very brief finish. Nose: 3.5/5 Taste: 3.5/5 Overall: 3.5/5 Repurchase: At $65 yes, but not at $100. Type: A whiskey for casual evening enjoyment (due to cost, otherwise it could be an everyday drink).

Yadira Antonio 3.5

Nose: deep caramel / coffee / toffee sweetness. Dark wood sweetness reminiscent of a cigar box. Definitely a vanilla cinnamon spice too. Flavor: Prominent toffee-caramel at the start, quite bold and rich. Transitions to a milder sweetness in the middle with wood notes emerging. Dry coffee notes at the end with some woody tannins. Caramel sweetness lingers slightly - medium finish. The wood tannins seem a bit immature and sharp. Otherwise, the flavor is very good - quite good value for the price. T8ke: 6.8

Haven Arnett 3.5

Very smooth, mellow, and soft on the nose, almost like baked sweetbread or vanilla custard, with virtually no wood or char. A slight oakiness appears in the neat taste, along with a touch of fruity tartness and an almost chalky, drying sensation that absorbs moisture, leaving hints of chalk and coffee in the aftertaste. It's nicely balanced and complex when mixed with Coke, revealing an oakiness underscored by hints of fruit and vanilla.

Felecia Sheldon 4.0

An aged, Single Cask Bourbon Whiskey from a renowned Master Distiller for a Kentucky distillery bottled roughly eight years old. It presents a deep beginning with hints of barley, dried fruits, and caramel. Its robust and spirited middle adds notes of cinnamon and black pepper, leading to an enduring and peppery conclusion with traces of vanilla and clove. October 2023

Frederic Hadley 3.8

The aroma starts with a whisper of tropical sea air and leather, then quickly shifts to tangy dried fruit (grapes, apricots). The taste offers a sweeter, fruit-forward entry before settling into pepper and tobacco notes on the finish. With a medium finish, the peppery burn lingers just long enough to prepare for the next sweet sip.
