About this bottle
Michter's presented this release in 2013, reportedly combining barrels aged over two and three decades with younger whiskey. The spirit is a blend of straight bourbon and straight rye originating from Kentucky, indicated as sour mash because no single grain constitutes at least 51% of the mash bill. Michter's blender Willie Pratt personally selected the barrels for this extremely limited bottling of 273 bottles, which was put into bottles at 56.2% ABV.
