About this bottle
The 2025 release of Michter’s Celebration Sour Mash American Whiskey marks only the fifth time this series has been offered since its inception in 2013. Master of Maturation Andrea Wilson and Master Distiller Dan McKee are responsible for the aging and blending, selecting barrels for a particular flavor profile rather than adhering to a fixed age. For this edition, seven barrels were chosen: three Kentucky straight bourbon and four Kentucky straight rye. The youngest whiskey in the blend is 12 years old, while the oldest exceeds 30 years. Bottled at 115.2 proof, only 315 bottles will be available globally beginning February 2026, with a suggested retail price of $6,000.
